The 2009 JET Programme Pre-Departure Q&A Session run by JETAA Qld was held at the Brisbane Consulate-General of Japan on the evening of 19 June.
New JET participants were able to ask a range of questions about how to prepare for their time on the programme, and some of the things to expect from their job and life in Japan.
Eight members from JETAA Qld gave presentations about their time on JET and fielded questions from the 'next generation' of JET participants departing from Brisbane. After the talks , JETAA Qld provided drinks and cocktail platters for an informal discussion time, and other JETAA Qld members were on hand to offer one-on-one advice.
Thanks to Susie and Mr Yokogawa from the Queensland Consulate and JETAA Qld for running the event, and to the enthusiastic new JET participants and their guests.
